1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the NystBot Discord bot and NystBot web dashboard operated by NystBot.

By adding NystBot to a Discord server, using NystBot commands, interacting with NystBot components, or accessing the NystBot dashboard, you agree to these Terms.

2. NystBot services

NystBot may provide moderation, AutoMod, server logging, tickets, applications, suggestions, scheduled messages, reminders, self-role menus, leveling, custom commands, EVE Online tools, Black Desert tools, community events, and other Discord-management functionality.

Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed as NystBot develops.

3. Your responsibility

Discord server owners and administrators are responsible for how they configure and use NystBot in their communities.

You are responsible for:

• Using NystBot in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Giving NystBot only the permissions reasonably needed for enabled features.
• Configuring moderation, logging, application, ticket, and automation features responsibly.
• Informing members when server policies require disclosure of moderation, logging, or other automated processing.
• Keeping your Discord account and dashboard access secure.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use NystBot to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other people.
• Facilitate scams, fraud, spam, malware, phishing, or illegal activity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to NystBot, its infrastructure, another Discord server, or another user's data.
• Bypass permissions, security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
• Use NystBot to unlawfully collect or process personal information.
• Reverse-engineer or exploit NystBot for malicious purposes.
• Interfere with the operation of NystBot or Discord.

5. Moderation and automated actions

NystBot may perform automated or administrator-triggered actions such as deleting messages, issuing warnings, applying timeouts, managing roles, opening or closing tickets, or sending scheduled messages.

Server administrators are responsible for the rules and configuration that cause these actions. NystBot does not guarantee that automated moderation decisions will always be correct.

6. Applications and user-submitted content

Users may submit content through applications, tickets, suggestions, commands, events, and other NystBot features.

You must not submit content that you do not have the right to provide. Server administrators are responsible for how they review, use, retain, or delete server-specific submissions.

7. Gaming features and third-party services

NystBot may provide tools related to games or services such as EVE Online and Black Desert. These tools are independent community features and are not official services of the game publishers.

Third-party names, trademarks, APIs, and services remain subject to their respective owners' terms.

8. Availability

NystBot is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Discord configuration.

Maintenance, Discord API changes, hosting problems, software bugs, abuse prevention, or other circumstances may temporarily affect the service.

9. Suspension or termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to NystBot where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or platform rules, prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, or protect NystBot infrastructure.

A Discord server may stop using NystBot at any time by removing the bot from the server. Removing the bot does not necessarily immediately erase all previously stored NystBot data; data requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NystBot is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the NystBot operator is not responsible for losses caused by server administrator configuration, third-party services, Discord outages, unauthorized account access, user submissions, or use of NystBot contrary to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

12. Privacy

Use of NystBot is also subject to the NystBot Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated when NystBot, applicable requirements, or the service model changes. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
